1. Log in to your PayPal account and go to the “Activity” tab.
2. Find the transaction you want to refund and click on it.
3. Click on the “Refund this payment” link.
4. Enter the amount you want to refund and click on “Continue”.
5. Choose the reason for the refund and click on “Continue”.
6. Review the details of the refund and click on “Issue Refund”.
7. Log in to your G2A account and go to the “My Gifts” tab.
8. Find the gift card you want to keep and click on “View Details”.
9. Copy the gift card code to your clipboard.
10. Contact G2A customer support via their live chat or email.
11. Explain that you accidentally refunded the wrong transaction and ask if they can cancel the refund.
12. If they agree, provide them with the transaction ID and ask for confirmation that the refund has been canceled.
13. If they refuse to cancel the refund, explain that you will file a dispute with PayPal and request a chargeback.
14. File a dispute with PayPal and provide all relevant information, including the transaction ID and the gift card code.
15. Wait for PayPal to investigate the dispute and issue a chargeback.
16. If PayPal rules in your favor, the refund will be reversed and you will receive the gift card back.
17. If PayPal rules against you, contact G2A customer support again and explain the situation.
18. Ask if they can issue a replacement gift card or refund the value of the gift card.
19. If they refuse, you can try to sell the gift card on a third-party marketplace or give it away as a gift.
20. Congratulations! You have successfully refunded your G2A PayPal transaction and kept the gift card purchased.
